Adel Taha Yassin Ibrahim, known as Adel Ibrahim, is an Iraqi writer, novelist, and journalist, a graduate of Damascus University. Over more than four decades he combined journalism, diplomacy, and cultural administration — editing several magazines and newspapers, serving as Director General of the General Cultural Affairs House in Baghdad, and working as press attaché at the Iraqi embassies in Cairo and Amman.
